This interest field represents work in creating, delivering, and managing messages, particularly through media channels. Strategic plans are developed to most effectively communicate messages and deliver appropriate results. Some professionals may be involved in fundraising or awareness campaigns, while some professionals will actively be trying to promote products and brands. Students interested in these areas are likely to work in advertising/PR agencies, radio/TV stations, newspapers, magazines, or online media sources, but may work in a range of non-profit or for-profit organizations.
