Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering/Electronics

In its broadest sense the field of information technology is about the organization and dissemination of information.  At its highest levels, employers hiring in the fields of IT/Computer Science and electronics utilize talent in three major areas: software, hardware and support.  Software involves the design, modification, development, writing and implementation of programming applications.  Hardware personnel perform analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware for products. Support is primarily about the operational set-up, maintenance, and repair of computer systems and services.  Personnel in each of the three areas can fill an array of job titles, from Applications Systems Analyst, Computer Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer to Webmaster.
