Mid-SURE is an opportunity for undergraduates involved in research and creative activities to share their work with their peers, faculty, and external audiences. Last year, more than 250 undergraduates from MSU and nearly 60 other institutions presented their faculty-mentored research in areas including: agriculture and animal science, biological sciences, engineering, environmental science, health sciences, physical sciences, and the social and behavioral sciences.
We expect that Mid-SURE 2015 will feature about 275 undergraduate research presentations. In addition to undergraduates studying at institutions in Michigan, Mid-SURE will include students from across the nation who participate in summer research experiences at MSU and other colleges in this region. By featuring the work of students from numerous research programs, Mid-SURE offers students the opportunity to present their research to a broader audience and offers graduate recruiters access to a diverse group of undergraduate researchers, including students from populations traditionally underrepresented in STEM.
We invite you to participate in the graduate school recruitment fair that will be held during Mid-SURE. Students will present their research in staggered sessions from 1:00 - 4:00pm, with opportunities to visit the concurrent Graduate School Fair which will be held in the same location.
