InterviewStream online practice interviewing service
Being prepared for the interview is very important. The employer has already agreed to meet with you based on your resume and cover letter—you’ve made it this far. Now to be confident in your interview, you need to be prepared: Research the organization and the position; know your skills and abilities; and practice, practice, practice!
InterviewStream, a free service for MSU students, will help you practice interviewing using a webcam!
- If you've already set up your account: Login with your MSU email as the "User" and unique InterviewStream password. (Click "forgot password" if you don't have the password handy.)
- Click the Register link if you have not yet set up an account.
You have the option of sending a link of your practice interview to someone whose opinion you trust for feedback. Even if you choose not to share your video, seeing yourself in action is a great way to test your ability to answer common interview questions. You also get prompt audio-visual feedback on your body language and speech patterns. After all, you’re your own best critic. Watch yourself in action to see how you appear to an interviewer.
The Career Services Network also offers practice (mock) interview sessions throughout the year. Check your Handshake account for dates and times to sign up for a live practice interview.
