The MSU Surplus Store and Recycling Center (SSRC) manages MSU’s waste as a resource by diverting as much of the university’s property from the landfill as possible. The Surplus Store receives a large amount of used clothing and textiles. Used clothing is a substantial problem to recycle and reusing items is a better use of the material.
