Careers in Health, part of the Excel Network Career Community Panel Series, offers students the opportunity to hear from a panel of College of Arts & Letters alumni and MSU partners on a topics such as:
-Ways to gain experience as a student interested in roles related to health-related industries.
-Examples of working in health-related industries
-How to apply a liberal arts degree to health-related career paths
-How to prepare for industry trends and changes
-Zekiye Salman (Religious Studies ’13) – Grants Coordinator for Ingham County Health Department; President of the Lansing Association for Human Rights
-Jonathan Ritz – Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) and Assistant Professor in the College of Arts & Letters who works on initiatives focused on the mental health and well-being of students.
-Alisha Ungkuldee (Women’s & Gender Studies ’20) – Medical student at MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine who plans to work in community-based medicine for marginalized populations.
-Terence Gipson (Global Studies in the Arts & Humanities ’15) – Program Evaluator at Oklahoma Dementia Care Network; Public Health Instructor at U. of Oklahoma Medical Center.
