The Career Services Network invites MSU freshmen to attend a virtual discussion and hear directly from employers and alums from a variety of industries about the importance of exploring career options and engaging in experiential learning.
This discussion panel will last about 60 minutes and take place over Zoom. After registering, you will receive an email containing a Zoom address and password to use at the time of the discussion panel.
Career consultants of the Career Services Network will facilitate the discussion and the panel will consist of about 5 employers and alumni from a variety of industries. The session will start with basic introductions and then proceed with a typical Q&A format guided by the facilitators. As a student, you are very welcome to submit your own questions for the panel through Zoom’s chat feature.
This is an excellent opportunity to meet and interact with professionals who are very interested in mentoring and employing MSU students!
*If you are a student in a section of UGS 110 or BUS 101, you may be required to register for and attend one employer discussion panel. This is one of several that you can choose from. It is recommended that you take notes during the discussion. Instructors will be notified about student attendance. To see the full schedule of panels, check your course’s D2L site or search events in Handshake for “Career Exploration for New Spartans”. UGS 110 and BUS 101 students are welcome to attend more than one discussion panel. If you are enrolled in UGS 110 or BUS 101 and are unsure if this is a requirement for your section, email and ask your instructor.
