PILOT Speaker Series Week 3- Workshop Session

Join the Pursuing Intentional Learning in Organizations Together (PILOT) Project, a four-week series aimed at bridging the gap between graduating students and non-academic professionals. Held weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4pm on Zoom, this program provides graduate students with insights and practical strategies for transitioning from academia to non-academic careers. Each Tuesday, guest speakers from the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) will offer their expertise, while Thursdays will feature interactive workshops to further explore the topics discussed.Week 3 – Job Search and Application Strategies: Guiding Your Non-Academic Career Path: Building on the past two sessions, this week’s sessions review proven job search and application strategies. Guest speakers from MDARD will draw from their own experiences and expertise to offer insights into conducting focused job searches and crafting resumes and cover letters tailored to non-academic roles.
