Students: The on-campus career fairs included below are your chance to talk directly with employers looking for interns and entry level hires!  All events are open to students in all majors (unless specifically noted). Plan to attend events that fit your personal interests.


Engineering Expo Day 1
Feb 19, 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
The Engineering Expo is meant to be an interactive, information sharing event. A chance for our students to gain knowledge of companies, interact with alumni, network with professional engineers, and get the “insider” information. Day 1: BEVERAGE/FOOD; CONSUMER PACKAGED GOODS; TEXTILES; BIOMEDICAL & BIOPHARMACEUTICAL; ENERGY; BIOCHEMICAL; CIVIL, CONSTRUCTION; ENVIRONMENTAL; COMPUTING/IT; FINTECH; ENTERTAINMENT; CONSULTING

Environmental Natural Resources Sustainability Career Event

This popular career fair/career exposure event is open to all MSU students with an interest in sustainability and the environment, natural resources, conservation and the out-of-doors. Alumni and industry professionals will be there to share information about internship, summer, temporary, entry level and volunteer opportunities!

Marathon of Majors
Feb 20, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
The popular Marathon of Majors spring event is your chance to talk about majors and minors with experts from all MSU colleges. All students are encouraged to drop in at this career fair style event for comfortable conversation with academic and career advisors, college reps, campus resource reps and community partners. This is a great way to learn about majors, class requirements and career paths. See you there!

Psychology Service and Internship Fair
Feb 21, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
This gives students the opportunity to gather information on potential experiential learning opportunities and make connections with organizations. Obtain information on careers and jobs with these organizations. Learn how and what is needed to obtain a volunteer position or internship.

Strategic Research Communication

Having trouble speaking about your research? Hear from Dr. John Besley from the ADV & PR department who will help you define your communication goals and reach your target audience.

Geography Career Fair
Feb 22, 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Join us at the Geography Career Day and Job Fair! An Introduction Session will start the event with 60-second “elevator pitch.” Then, visit with employers of interest to discuss internships, jobs and career paths. Snacks and refreshments will be provided, too!

Unpacking Your Research Experience

Learn about strategies to help you communicate the skills you're learning through undergraduate research to others such as graduate schools or employers. Come prepared to talk about your research to others!

Summer Arts Opportunity Showcase

Are you looking for summer employment opportunities that feed your artistic, musical or dramatic soul? We’re inviting a variety of arts and entertainment organizations in Michigan to campus to talk with students from a wide range of majors and artistic interests. Stop by to learn about internship opportunities as well as part-time work and volunteer programs. The Showcase is a casual affair so you can wear your normal apparel, but be sure to bring copies of your resume!

Interested in what it means to be an entrepreneur, or curious about how entrepreneurship could fit into your career path, summer plans, or your time at MSU? Join us to make connections with entrepreneurs from tech, science, food & beverage, the arts, and other industries. Event is in partnership with Spartan Innovations. For all students!

MSUFCU Internship Opportunity Award application deadline

Teacher and Administrator Recruitment Fair

Just In Time Career Fair

It’s never too late to find your summer internship or full time job if you’re graduating. We’re recruiting a wide range of employers to be on hand to talk with students from a wide range of majors and career interests. Just In Time to make sure all Spartans are off to a great summer! Open to all majors and grade levels, as well as current students from other colleges in Michigan.
