General duties for a Student Research Assistant I include:
- Cleans and cares for laboratory equipment
- Assists in the general care of animals or specimens by handling live animals, cleaning cages, maintaining professional health standards to USDA standards
- Monitors and records research data
- Collects and codes data
- Prepares reports
In Dr. Kaminski’s lab, the Student Research Assistant I will have the following job responsibilities:
- Clean and autoclave glassware, dishes and pipes
- Make solutions buffers and reagents
- Restock the lab
The ideal candidate will be available to work during Summer 2025.
