*Due to the minimum wage increase at MSU, the starting rate for this position is going to be $16.00 effective 8/9/2026. Those hired prior to the 8/9/2026 will also be brought to the new minimum on this effective date.

Join the Events Team at Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center, that helps serve the hotel and MSU Athletic Venues, including Breslin Center and Munn Ice Arena, for all types of events!
- This position does not have a set schedule, and times vary depending on the needs of the company
- Provides exceptional customer service by delivering outstanding Spartan experiences (DOSE)
- Prepare room for events: set tablecloths, dishes, glassware, and silverware as directed
- Assist in clearing, cleaning, and breaking down the room after an event
- Serve guests food and drinks, including plated, buffet, etc., during the event as required
- Accommodate any needs for reasonable special requests
- Ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow directions as detailed by the Banquet Lead, Banquet Captain, or Banquet Manager
- Other duties as assigned
