It is the time to implement your job or graduate school search plan.  Below is a list of action items that we recommend you complete during your senior year.

  • Seek leadership opportunities at work and/or in student organizations
  • Update your resume and have it critiqued by a Career Adviser
  • Participate in a mock interview
  • Network with professionals and alumni in your field of interest
  • Review job listings and apply for positions on Handshake and other online job listing websites
  • Attend Career Fairs to network with employers
  • Create a profile on LinkedIn to network with employers and alumni
  • Attend a workshop on applying to graduate school, job searching or evaluating job offers
  • Develop a list of employers of interest and research in-depth
  • Meet with a Career Adviser to firm up your job search or graduate school search plan
  • Select and contact professionals for references
  • Apply to graduate/professional school
  • Inform Career Services of your plans for after graduation, once secured, by completing the Destination Survey
