Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage employer evening/hallway events; specific details include:
- Work with FT staff to identify and invite employers to conduct events on targeted days
- Monitor request via Handshake and approve requests as appropriate
- Promote event via Handshake (invites and Pins), promotion on TV Monitors, JJ and newsletter and social media
- Communicate confirmations/logistic details with employer
- Facilitate employer check-in on day of event (signage, kiosk check-in, handouts/folder and parking)
- Train Career Peers on event process and procedure
- Assist FT staff in the management of our 2 major career fairs
- Assist in other events as they come up (other examples: Wilson Events, Senior Send Off)
- Create and distribute weekly newsletter and Job Johnny for all engineering students
- Manage weekly content on the Co-Op TV and portable TV
- Create and distribute bi-weekly jobs and events report to share out with college
- Collect and analyze event and career fair data to share with staff in a report
- Create SOP to document process and procedures for event management, bi-weekly college report, job johnny, newsletter and TV loop
Qualifications
- Experience with Excel, Canva, Prezi and social media (twitter/hootsuite/facebook)
- Previous event management experience
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite a plus
