O*Net is an occupational information site that gathers data from the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, and has been developed under the US Department of Labor/Employment and Training Administration. Some ways to search are, by key word, industry, career cluster, which occupations have a ‘bright outlook,’ skills/abilities/interests/knowledge/work activities/values, and many more. This site also correlates to searching by Holland Theme Codes.
O*Net also includes information on common career paths within select professions.
